The Sopwith Camel Flying Club is on a mission to make flying affordable, safe, and fun.

We aim to bring great value to our members, so we set our rates as low as possible while ensuring we can be sustainable.  If you plan to fly an average of one hour or more per month, the Sopwith Camel Flying Club is probably your most affordable option.

Our rates are based on tach time, which offers 10-25 percent more flying time and value for the money than Hobbs time.  With Hobbs time, you're charged whenever the engine is running.  Tach time is connected to RPM's and accumulates slower when you're idling on the ground or flying at lower power settings.

The Sopwith Camel, where we took our name, is a beautiful biplane from World War I, and it's the aircraft Snoopy from the comic strip Peanuts flew during his imaginary duels with the infamous Red Baron.
